Thimmiah Napanda, Managing Director & CEO, Alternicq, highlighted that the packaging industry is witnessing tighter supply conditions, longer lead times and more allocation-driven material availability amid ongoing volatility. He noted that smaller players are facing disproportionate challenges due to limited working capital and weaker supplier relationships. While larger, integrated players are better positioned to manage disruptions, prolonged cost pressures could gradually flow through to end-market pricing. Napanda emphasized that supply continuity and financial resilience are becoming increasingly important across the packaging value chain.
